Maybe Lalli got splashed with some weird magic water? He wasn't wet when he found him, so....square one. )

Me? I'm fine. I feel great, actually. No strange illness or anything. I've been pretty busy trying to keep this egg warm, so tired if I'm anything.

( Even if nothing about him reads as weary or sleepy. He's afraid of heating the Palai egg with magic too often and creating some kind of cooked Palai baby, so staying outside and swaddling it have been his go-to methods. )
