They're growing still. Also a bit chubby...but babies are, so that's fine! ( Like the "I Can't Say No To That Face" Dad he is, Emil places a whole cookie on the counter for the beast, and it's gone rather quickly. Fat Lisko Rises... ) It's actually rather amusing to watch.

[Lalli munches fairly often, but wow... All of Emil's money is going to be spent on keeping this one satisfied... If Lalli wasn't already determined to get a job, seeing these luxurious foods squandered would be the nail in the coffin.]

I guess so. [Admittedly, he doesn't know much about babies, or what's amusing or not...] As long as they don't get sick.

Maybe that'll be the last one they get...I'm not sure how sensitive lizard stomachs are. ( Lisko doesn't appear to be disturbed thus far, licking the counter to make sure they get every smear of chocolate. They baby them too much... )

A job? I'd say not. Most of them sound ridiculous or menial, and there's no point if they're going to give me credits for free. Maybe if we're still here and they need help with something more in line with my skill set, but I doubt that.

( That last bit particularly irritates him!! Why don't other worlds need people to burn shit down? )

A bicycle? ( He knows what that is, but... ) That sounds interesting. Much faster than just walking or running everywhere.

( He hasn't failed miserably at it and therefore hates it, yet. )

( Emil leans back against the counter, inhaling contentedly. He definitely likes this world so far. Despite Shehui being totally different than any place he's ever been, something about it feels so homey and normal. It's nice. This is nice. )

Right. ( Well, not exactly right -- Emil's not exactly juiced at the idea of having to do stuff that he doesn't want to, but there's also plenty of stuff to do that he does want to. In Lalli's case, seeing him out and about is good. If he wants to learn to ride a bicycle and deliver who knows what to who knows where, that's a marked improvement.

Lisko licks their nose and sits back up on their hind legs, still getting used to bipedal movement. They amble over to Night Dad on two legs, papping at him. What's the hot haps, stranger? How are you today? )

Instead of taking Lisko scouting here, maybe it would be alright to take them...wherever you go. If you can deliver things and watch them at the same time, I mean. ( Daddy/Child bonding time!! Knock knock, delivery lizard is here. )

Mm. I want to learn the area better first. Since they can't have telepathy, I can't find out where they are super easy if they get lost. But I can do that after, if you want.
